Loading a B-17 prior to mission
(England) What goes up must come down - and this 1000 lb. bomb is to be no exception to that rule. Members of an ordinance crew loading a B-17 "Flying Fortress" before she takes off on a mission over enemy territory. This aircraft is the "Shot Luke" and has been on 27 missions over enemy territory from North Africa and England where she is now stationed.
