We are excited to announce the development of a new digital space dedicated to showcasing the Department of the Air Force's (DAF) official archival records. This project highlights the rich and storied history of both the Air Force and Space Force, featuring historical records, artifacts, photographs, audio recordings, video documentation, and archival finding aids.

Although the page is currently under construction, our team is actively working to ensure it becomes a comprehensive and accessible resource for historians, researchers, veterans, and enthusiasts. We aim to make these valuable materials readily discoverable for those seeking insights into the DAF's contributions to our nation's history.

The Cold War and Beyond: Chronology of the United States Air Force, 1947-1997
The work provides a chronological account of major events in the history of the U.S. Air Force from its inception as an independent service in 1947 through the Cold War and into the post-Cold War era. The book details key milestones such as strategic nuclear deterrence, air combat operations in Korea and Vietnam, humanitarian missions, technological advancements in aircraft and missile systems, and the USAF’s evolving role in global conflicts. It also highlights the integration of space operations, the restructuring of air power following the Soviet Union's collapse, and the adaptation of air capabilities to new international security challenges. Published in association with Air University Press, this historical record commemorates the USAF’s contributions to national defense and global stability over five decades.
