Please Note:

ATTENTION: PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT ANY INQUIRIES AT THIS TIME. Any inquiries submitted after September 30, 2025, will not be answered, nor added to the queue, due to the absence of Fiscal Year 2026 appropriations and the implementation of a government shutdown. If you submitted an inquiry after September 30 to present, you will need to resubmit your inquiry once appropriations or a continuing resolution have been approved.

We thank you for your patience and understanding. We look forward to resuming our mission once authorized to do so.

The Agency receives a large volume of inquiries each month and has a substantial backlog of unofficial requests. All requests are worked on a priority, first in, first out basis. The highest priority are those official requests originating from the White House, Members of Congress, the Office of Secretary of War, Secretary/Chief of Staff of the Air Force/Space Force, Major and Field Commands, and other Federal Government Agencies. Domestic, unofficial requests are worked before foreign requests, and it may take several months to receive a response. Be aware that in order to protect national security in today’s challenging environment, all requests, including those for unclassified information, will undergo a security review to determine releasability.

For general public, unofficial requests, please wait at least 120 days before inquiring on the status of your initial request.
