Lineage.  Constituted as 434 Motor Vehicle Squadron on 8 Sep 1950.  Activated in the Reserve on 1 Oct 1950.  Ordered to Active Service on 1 May 1951.  Inactivated on 1 Feb 1953.  Activated in the Reserve 1 Feb 1953.  Redesignated as 434 Transportation Squadron on 18 Sep 1956.  Ordered to Active Service on 28 Oct 1962.  Relieved from Active Duty on 28 Nov 1962.  Discontinued, and inactivated, on 11 Feb 1963.  Redesignated as 434 Logistics Readiness Squadron on 4 Sep 2002.  Activated in the Reserve on 1 Oct 2002.
