Lineage.  Established as 482 Air Service Group on 4 Apr 1945.  Activated on 11 Jun 1945.  Inactivated on 1 Jan 1946.  Disestablished on 8 Oct 1948.  Reestablished, redesignated as 482 Support Group, and activated in the Reserve, on 1 Aug 1992.  Redesignated as 482 Mission Support Group on 1 Oct 2002.
