Lineage.  Constituted as 403 Air Police Squadron on 8 Sep 1950.  Activated in the Reserve on 11 Oct 1950.  Ordered to Active Service on 1 Apr 1951.  Relieved from Active Duty on 15 Nov 1952.  Inactivated on 1 Jan 1953.  Activated in the Reserve on 1 Jan 1953.  Ordered to Active Service on 28 Oct 1962.  Relieved from Active Duty on 28 Nov 1962.  Discontinued, and inactivated, on 11 Feb 1963.  Redesignated as 403 Weapons System Security Flight on 29 Sep 1983.  Activated in the Reserve on 1 Nov 1983.  Redesignated as:  403 Security Police Flight on 15 Aug 1988; 403 Security Police Squadron on 1 Oct 1992; 403 Security Forces Squadron on 1 Jul 1997.
