    Lineage.  Constituted as 482 Base Headquarters and Air Base Squadron on 21 Dec 1942.  Activated on 2 Jan 1943.  Disbanded on 1 Apr 1944.  Reconstituted and consolidated (25 Feb 1981) with the 482 Air Base Group, which was established on 26 May 1952.  Activated in the Reserve on 14 Jun 1952.
