Synthetic training aids, Link Trainer

Flying Cadet seated in the cockpit of a Link Trainer, a device that simulates blind flying without ever leaving terra firma. As the student pilot "flies" the trainer, its course is recorded by the mechanism in the foreground. Later the instructor, right, and the F/C will analyze the "flight", and the errors made.
