Lineage. Established as 944 Supply Group on 27 Jul 1951. Activated in the Reserve on 12 Oct 1951. Inactivated on 11 Apr 1952. Disestablished on 27 Sep 1984. Reestablished, redesignated as 944 Support Group, and activated in the Reserve, on 1 Aug 1992. Redesignated as 944 Mission Support Group on 1 Oct 2002.
