Air Corps Tactical School, 1927; Command and General Staff School, 1928; Army War College, 1936; Naval War College, 1937. Commissioned Second Lieutenant, Cavalry, November 1916, and served to grade of Captain, 1916-1922; began duty with Air Service, July 1922. Career assignments include: Director of Bombardment Training and Senior Instructor, Kelly Field, 1923-1926; Instructor, Air Corps Tactical School, 1928-1932; various staff and command duties, 1932-1952. Retired June 1952. Died at Andrews AFB, MD.
