Personal and official papers relating mostly to Kenney's Air Force career. Contains personal correspondence including a genealogy of the Kenney family (1898-1970). Also contains some official correspondence including meeting minutes of the UN General Assembly (1948). Contains documents relating to the research, writing and publishing of Kenney's four books, as well as to his unpublished works. Also includes speeches and related research by Kenney and others (1946-1961). Contains several official studies and reports including the 91st Aero Squadron History (1917-1919); the "Luzon Campaign Exhibits" (1946) and "Implications and Summary of a Psychological Warfare Study in South Korea" by the Human Resources Institute (1950-1951). Also contains a range of published works collected by Kenney, including The Wright Brothers Chronology, 1903-1909; a booklet on Maxwell Field, Army Air Corps (1929); the final issue of Impact (1944-1945); a magazine, Air Force Day, 1947; a booklet on Russian aircraft (1951); an article entitled "The Reawakening of Asia" by Arnold Toynbee (1951), and a copy of Wooing Peponi, an autobiography of Major General Donald Wilson (1893-1973). Also includes copies of the Japanese surrender documents and related photographs (1945). Contains several World War II pictorial histories covering the 417th Bomb Group, 8th Photo Squadron, Fifth Air Force Fighter Command, 22nd Bomb Group, 307th Bomb Group, 61st Services Group, 27th Air Depot Group, 433rd Troop Carrier Group, 63rd Bomb Squadron, 54th Troop Carrier Wing, 444th Bomb Group, 17th Reconnaissance Squadron, 308th Bomb Wing, 400th Bomb Squadron, and the Fifth Air Force. Also contains several photographs (1917-1947), news clippings (1898-1971) and World War II maps collected by Kenney.
