61 Medical Group (AFSPC)

Lineage. Constituted as 61 Station Medical Group, and activated, on 1 Jul 1948. Redesignated as 61 Medical Group on 25 Mar 1949. Inactivated on 2 Jun 1951. Consolidated (16 Sep 1994) with the USAF Dispensary, Los Angeles, which was constituted on 14 Oct 1970. Activated on 1 Dec 1970. Redesignated as: USAF Clinic, Los Angeles on 1 Sep 1972; Air Force Systems Command Clinic, Los Angeles on 7 Nov 1987; 655 Medical Squadron on 1 Oct 1992; 61 Medical Squadron on 1 Oct 1994; 61 Medical Group on 1 Aug 2006.
