Lineage.    Constituted as 18 Station Medical Group on 10 Aug 1948.  Activated on 14 Aug 1948.  Redesignated as: 18 Medical Group on 1 Apr 1949; 18 Tactical Hospital on 8 Mar 1954.  Inactivated on 16 Feb 1959.  Redesignated as 18 Medical Group and activated on 1 Oct 1991.
