Lineage.  Constituted as 927 Combat Support Squadron, and activated, on 15 Jan 1963.  Organized in the Reserve on 11 Feb 1963.  Inactivated on 1 Mar 1977.  Activated in the Reserve on 1 Nov 1983.  Redesignated as: 927 Mission Support Squadron on 1 Feb 1992; 927 Mission Support Flight on 1 Sep 2003; 927 Force Support Squadron on 15 Oct 2010.
