Lineage.  Constituted as 419 Air Police on 8 Sep 1950.  Activated in the Reserve on 1 Oct 1950.  Ordered to Active Service on 1 May 1951.  Inactivated on 2 May 1951.  Redesignated as 419 Weapons Systems Security Fight on 22 Feb 1982.  Activated in the Reserve on 1 Oct 1982.  Redesignated as: 419 Security Police Flight on 15 Aug 1988; 419 Security Police Squadron on 1 Oct 1992; 419 Security Forces Squadron on 1 Jul 1997.

Assignments.  419 Air Base Group, 1 Oct 1950-2 May 1951.  419 Combat Support (later, Mission Support) Squadron, 1 Oct 1982; 419 Support (later, Mission Support) Group, 1 Aug 1992-.
