Lineage.  Constituted as 419 Maintenance Squadron, Troop Carrier, Medium on 10 May 1949.  Activated in the Reserve on 27 Jun 1949.  Redesignated as 419 Maintenance Squadron on 1 Mar 1950.  Ordered to Active Service on 1 May 1951.  Inactivated on 2 May 1951.  Redesignated as 419 Consolidated Aircraft Maintenance Squadron on 22 Feb 1982.  Activated in the Reserve on 1 Oct 1982.  Redesignated as 419 Maintenance Squadron on 1 Feb 1992.
