Lineage.  Constituted as 452 Installations Squadron on 28 Jul 1950.  Activated in the Reserve on 1 Aug 1950.  Ordered to Active Service on 10 Aug 1950.  Relieved from Active Duty, and inactivated, on 10 May 1952.  Activated in the Reserve on 13 Jun 1952.  Redesignated as 452 Civil Engineering Squadron on 1 Jul 1960.  Discontinued, and inactivated, on 17 Jan 1963.  Activated in the Reserve on 15 Nov 1978.  Consolidated (3 Oct 1984) with the 452 Civil Engineering Flight, which was constituted on 15 Jul 1976.  Activated in the Reserve on 1 Oct 1976.  Inactivated on 15 Nov 1978.  Consolidated unit retained designation as 452 Civil Engineering Squadron.  Redesignated as 452 Civil Engineer Squadron on 1 Mar 1994.
