Lineage.  Constituted as 507 Service Squadron on 10 May 1943.  Activated on 1 Apr 1943.  Inactivated on 5 Feb 1944.  Redesignated as 507 Materiel Squadron on 23 Feb 1944.  Activated on 1 Mar 1944.  Redesignated as 507 Air Materiel Squadron c. Nov 1944.  Inactivated on 19 Dec 1945.  Activated on 19 May 1947.  Inactivated on 12 Aug 1948.  Disbanded on 8 Oct 1948.  Reconstituted, and redesignated as 507 Material Squadron, on 20 Jun 1955.  Activated on 18 Aug 1955.  Discontinued, and inactivated, on 1 Feb 1961.  Disbanded on 15 Jun 1983.  Reconstituted, redesignated as 507 Aircraft Generation Squadron, and activated in the Reserve, on 1 Apr 1995.  Redesignated as 507 Aircraft Maintenance Squadron on 1 Oct 2002.
